Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Site Museum

Balaklava is a populated point on the south-western coast of the Crimean peninsula. Until 1957 it was classified as a city, today in administrative matters it is a part of the Balaklava District of Sevastopol, although as a matter of fact it is to this day separated from the rest of Sevastopol by undeveloped land of several kilometers.
The unique geographic location and navigation conditions of the city's harbours make Sevastopol a strategically important naval point. It is also a popular seaside resort and tourist destination, mainly for visitors from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.
