We provide group lessons that will not only help you to improve your knowledge of Russian but also give you the possibility to communicate with fellow students from around the world who might have the same interests as you do.

Group classes are held all year round. You can join a group in progress after completing the entrance test. A maximum of 10 students are permitted in each group, which allows each student

We provide group lessons that will not only help you to improve your knowledge of Russian but also give you the possibility to communicate with fellow students from around the world who might have the same interests as you do.

Group classes are held all year round. You can join a group in progress after completing the entrance test. A maximum of 10 students are permitted in each group, which allows each student to receive an active and fun lesson while getting the personal attention they deserve.

On every Monday, students of all levels except A1, C1, and C2 levels are permitted to join an active group. Students who study in our groups get a head start on results testing, which is conducted at the beginning of every week.

Students who join any group should study for at least one week with that group.

If a student enrolled for group lessons is the only one on the start date, NovaMova has the right to provide two individual lessons instead of four group lessons at the same cost.

The maximum number of students in mini groups is six and in this class students share common interests and have the same level in Russian. During this course all students get personalized attention and can work on problems closely with their instructors.

Students in these groups get a head start on results testing, which is conducted at the beginning of each week.

Upon completion of a course, students are tested. Those who successfully complete this test are given a certificate for the course.

NovaMova reserves the right to substitute four mini-group lessons for 3 individual lessons at the same cost.

Our teachers are Ukrainians who have spoken Russian natively since early childhood and then mastered a second language- English, French, Spanish, German, and others. When students still new to the Russian language need an explanation, these explanations are given in the student’s native language.

NovaMova gives the students the opportunity to choose a teacher based upon linguistic of other principles, but management reserves the right to make the final decision.

Mixed courses are the perfect balance of individual and group training. In addition to four group lessons, mixed courses allow you to have one or two individual lessons each day. During your individual lessons, you will have an opportunity to work with a private teacher on themes or grammar studies, which would be helpful to you.

Additionally, individual advanced lessons give you the chance to catch up on missed lessons from earlier stages of learning.

Mixed courses can involve group lessons or mini groups.

The schedule for mixed groups is as follows:

• 10:00 – 11:30 Classes One and Two
• 11:30 – 11:45 Intermission
• 11:45 – 13:15 Classes Three and Four

Individual lessons are offered during the morning hours and after 14:00:

• Slot one: 9:00 – 9:45
• Slot two: 14:00 – 14:45*
• Slot three: 14:45 – 15:30*

*5 minute intermissions are available between time slots. NovaMova reserves the right to set the availability of these time slots.

All these activities will help you to overcome the language barrier, gain communicative skills, become familiar with the culture and the distinctive features of the Russian and Ukrainian mentality.

One element essential to our program is that students live with Ukrainian families, giving them an opportunity to practice Russian in everyday life.
